There are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs to choose from. Our favourite towns in the area are:
BOWRAL, the largest town in the Southern Highlands with lots of hotels, shops and restaurants.
BERRIMA, a twee and cute historic village with some excellent old pubs.
MOSS VALE, the second largest town after Bowral and the closest to our venue (only 10mins drive).
BUNDANOON, a charming historic village, known by locals as Bundy.
There will be a coach taking guests to The Royal Hotel Bowral and Moss Vale Hotel following the reception.

The Book Barn at Bendooley, Berrima - One of the Southern Highland’s most beautiful venues (we nearly booked this place for our wedding!) Browse the shelves then settle in for a glass of wine from their own vineyard, beside the fire or on the terrace overlooking the gardens.

Centennial Vineyards, Bowral - Stunning winery for tastings, views and relaxed lunch
Artemis Wines, Mittagong - Family-owned winery famous for their cool climate Pinot Noir and Riesling
Mount Ashby Estate, Moss Vale - Another picturesque, boutique vineyard in a restored historic dairy
Aspinalls Bar & Lounge, Bowral - Plush armchairs, roaring fireplace and over 100 premium whiskies. Can also confirm they make an excellent negroni.
SHOP
Few and Far, Bowral - We visit this gorgeous little furniture & homewares store anytime we pass through the area. Beautiful coffee table books, great tableware and a seriously good selection of table lamps.
Dirty Jane’s, Bowral - Huge, epic vintage & antiques marketplace and cafe. Best find so far is an antique firehose crafted into a lamp. Take your time in here!
